Despite the heavens opening up and the winds driving all the support crew into the bus shelter, those determined to turn up for coaching were able to ride for an hour before the coach decided it was time to call it a day. Riders were not getting any warmer or drier. Good skills were practised though in the traffic-free conditions (where else can you practice riding in wet & windy weather?). Determination 1 - 1 Common Sense. That's a score draw then! :0)
